✍️ A German court sentenced a husband and wife to life in prison for killing two Ukrainian refugees, a mother and grandmother, to abduct and pass off their newborn as their own.

👉 The couple was motivated by their desire for a child and planned to kidnap a child to present as their own.
👉 The victims were a 27-year-old Ukrainian woman and her 51-year-old mother, who were expecting a child and seeking help with translations.
👉 The German couple slipped sedatives to the victims during a dinner, and then killed them, with the husband responsible for the physical violence.
👉 The couple set fire to one of the bodies and took the infant home, where it was found unharmed by police.
👉 The convicted couple will pay the surviving relatives of the Ukrainian women 10,000 euros in compensation and 5,000 euros in damages.
