#Nostr, I need your help again.

I don’t understand. Help me out.

I’ve been asking around.

Friends, family, my close circle.

Nobody elected Ursula von der Leyen.

Yet, she’s the #President of the European Commission.

Making significant decisions for millions of Europeans.

E.g. the EU is fully enforcing its regulations on social media and large online platforms.

This includes the Digital Services Act (DSA), which governs content moderation and aims to ensure a fair and safe online environment.

While intended to „protect users“, some argue that such regulations may impact freedom of speech.

I’m just saying, I don’t want that.

And all the Europeans I know don’t want that either.

So, I wonder: Who elected her?

How did she end up making these crucial decisions for us Europeans?

Living in Germany, I’m starting to doubt if we truly live in a democracy with freedom of speech?

Going to lock up my house now I might just get arrested for this?

I was banned and censored on LinkedIn already.

For revealing truth?

For speaking truth?

So, who voted for her?
