From a free market perspective, whatever contract is negotiated is between the contract parties.
From a basic political view I feel that a Marxist would expect labour on every day since your every labour is to support your comrades (ie no rest)
It is only in a fiat world where enough currency can be printed and enough value stolen that the masses can be "rewarded" with two recurring consecutive days off.
I say 3day weekends.... ACCELERATE
