A friend and I were talking last night about the story of Floyd Collins, whose death in a Kentucky cave in 1925 was a media sensation.

Many years ago when I was a caver, I was allowed to pay a visit to Floyd’s corpse, which was then enclosed in a glass coffin inside a different cave (long story).
