#today I woke up at 1:15 am and have had no sleep except for about 1.5 hours until general anesthesia. It’s 12:10 am, I’m on pain meds, but still only a little sleepy. WTH. I expected to be so exhausted that I’d get some sleep, even if only in short snatches. Hopefully I’ll get some tomorrow night in my own bed. But, since the nerve block is gonna wear off soon, maybe not. At least I have a new knee (and one only 8 months old)… in a few weeks I’ll be running around like a deer. As if, LOL.
