It's pretty amazing the government can just say this happened without providing a scrap of evidence, deny the defense an independent forensic audit of the server, refuse to submit to discovery or cross-examination, deprive the accused of being able to offer exculpatory evidence or have a jury or their peers weigh the evidence against them, sentence the defendant on these baseless allegations despite the fact that those charges were never brought to trial, and then smart people I respect on the internet can say things like: "yeah, that seems right. I mean, like why would the government even lie, bro?"

Really? You can't think of a single reason why the FBI agents caught funneling millions of dollars worth of BTC to their own wallets would want to fabricate a papertrail explaining away millions of dollars worth of BTC transactions?? You can't think of, oh I don't know, millions of dollars worth of reason why they might make something like that up?? 🤔
