Going through anticipatory grief & internal debate as the vet thinks my 16 year old cat Shah should be put to sleep very soon due to megacolon . He's had a rough time in the last week, two obstipation procedures and a bladder stones removal operation. But he seems well - alert, active, in no apparent pain. It's really difficult, I don't know the time is right for him just yet. With past pets I could tell for sure it was their time and to let go. (The photo was taken today). 🙁
