BNEF report says that Australia needs to scale up its emission reductions targets from 43% by 2030 – it suggests 71 per cent reduction from 2005 levels by 2035, and it makes clear that the investment and spending also needs to treble, from a record $18 billion in 2023 to around $55 billion a year now and to $83 billion in the 2030s.
