#Ukraine 79th Air Assault Brigade video is circulating where a soldier fires at fallen #Russia soldiers raising comments that his might be a “war crime”. Except you can clearly see that these Russians were killed with weapons with their hands which automatically excludes them from the protected category of “persons taking no active part in the hostilities, including members of armed forces who have laid down their arms” (article 3 Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War). Until these soldiers clearly signalled their intent to surrender and put their weapons aside they are simply enemy assault troopers who are being fired at even if they seem dead because they could be pretending and then throw a grenade or fire at the last moment.
