What I've said is that one IS required not to put on ideological blinders and discount all evidence one doesn't like — that is, one is required to do this if she/he expects to be credible as a seeker of truth. Otherwise, one is ideologically blinded.
Abundant evidence from many sources suggests that the Palestinian people are suffering serious harm at present.
