The microwave isn't an accident. I would have destroyed access to my property rather than wait for it to be stolen by the government. If the coins move again, it means I either didn't have exclusive access to my keys or I lied. It would probably result in a second knock on the door. I think by that time, they're playing a game of wack a mole & realising how pointless the ban is.
On a long enough timeframe, it doesn't really matter. What will matter more to you, is whether you actually control the keys at the end of the ban or when you need the sats. By that time even normies are breaking laws just too survive & the jails are filling up.
If you need to sell a large chunk to access fiat services (eg medical system) before the ban, it's better that it's KYC'd. It makes the fiat accounting a little less expensive & complicated.
I think everyone needs a non KYC stack and with hindsight, I'd make that stack a little bigger as a %.
