Hard not to see the parallels between Ancient Rome and modern America.
— Debasement of the currency
— Replacement of Romans with migrants in the army/citizenry
— Political persecution of the regime’s most popular political opponent
— Over-expansionist wars stretching the empire’s resources too thin
The biggest difference, is that Ancient Rome didn’t have #Bitcoin. We do.
