I think you're right. The strange thing is that the deindustrialisation of Germany plays in the hands of the Green party there. They received 15% of the votes in 2021 and driving now the country into the ground, supported by a clueless chancellor. If it wouldn't be so tragic it's amazing to watch what's happening.
