My wife noted that "it won't be until after she's submitted her 4 essays" for her master's course. The form filling is exhausting enough, and she does most of it, but the constant low level management you have to do, the careful communication so as not to trigger PDA or meltdowns, and the strategies you have to use to just get out the door in time for whatever you're doing that day. It becomes so "normal" you don't notice you're doing it, but it's still wearing.
