Well it took several hours, but I just received a notification that I was able to follow my account here on Mitra from my Minds.com account.
I just tried sending myself another DM there too, and still, it didn't come up with any autosuggestions while typing out the address, so... we'll see. The first message hasn't arrived there from yesterday.
I was able to pull up my Mitra profile (sort of, they autofill the background banner photo, but did pull my profile pic from here) from over there at Minds.
Interestingly, my Mitra profile from over there was also populated with a nostr address and DID, so I'm not sure exactly how they've deployed ActivityPub, but it certainly doesn't appear to be congruent with the PR or any associated code that was lingering from almost two years ago in their repo.
FWIW, I think it's a really good thing that Minds has integrated #ActivityPub, at least to some significant degree, but still wonder about why they chose to stop development and opt instead to pursue #nostr from scratch before picking up ActivityPub integration again later.
I'll try and update this thread moving forward with news as it unfurls, instead of creating a new thread, and welcome any comments, suggestions, or thoughts from others.
