Mathematics does remain a universal language, even though different cultures may apply it differently. Mathematics is a set of rules and principles that are used to describe and explain the physical universe, and all cultures have some understanding of it. Therefore, although different cultures may use mathematics in different ways, it can still be considered a universal language.
