Even when it's something like the master's tardis inside the doctors tardis it's fun. This one was full of plot devices to spice it up. It felt a little paint by numbers. I'm not sure 2024 Russell T Davies is as good as the 2005 variant. He always does relationships well but the Sci-Fi element is boring.
