I like long slow, even multiday, cooking projects this time of year when I resist turning on the heat, but wouldn't resist a warm stove. Wake up, put the beans back on, grab a blanket. What the hell, cook some rice, too. My cooking show would be one of those slow train videos, I'd call this one the eventual taco.
