I’ve had a soft spot for ‘hogs ever since reading one of Gerald Durrell’s books as a kid - apparently a ‘hog got into some wizened, fermented grapes and got sloshed, thus featured in an adorable cartoon on the book’s cover.
For some reason I got absorbed with copying the cartoon once I’d finished the book - forgive the lined page from a school notebook and the 1-pencil minimalist approach 🤣 but I still have that attempt almost 50yrs later!
