The “enemy of my enemy is my friend” mentality needs to be cautiously applied in international matters like this.
The Taliban, for its efforts in cleaning up Afghanistan from Americunt influence, still treats women and non-native (but still Arab) Afghans like shit. It would be unwise to have opposition forces influence the fabric of this country, even if initially preferable to the kikery we have now.
