A band of 15 to 20 masked nazis attacked antifascists in #Ostkreuz (#Berlin) with pepperspray and batons. The antifascists were at a meeting point for a demonstration against the AfD, about 30 in number. One was hospitalised. They are looking for witnesses.
I would like to use this event as a pretext to push my one-note agenda that:
- we are way past the point of demos,
- violence is already here,
- at the very minimum all of us should be carrying tourniquets and trauma bandages at all times and know how to use them,
- being criminalised for carrying self-defense weapons is much preferable to being beaten to death on the streets.
