the nibs are decent, in some cases better than Lamy nibs. But as far as build quality, the no-name Safari clones tend to be pretty bad, and will fall apart after using for a while.

The ones that have held up well for me are Jinhao and Yiren, so I’ll vouch for those on quality, I think they are no worse than similar stuff in that price range like Platinum Preppy.
