I bought a bag of Miracle-Gro Cactus, Palm & Citrus Potting Mix for succulents. I was expecting a gritty soil mix, but it doesn't seem to have any soil in it at all. I see twigs and big chunks of wood, and a few flecks of perlite, but it mostly feels like finely ground organic material. That's not what I think of succulents growing in. Is this safe to use for succulents?
