i've watched one person on fedi go to therapy and become frustrated, another person went to therapy and had an adequate experience and i kinda did as well, and another went to therapy and turned from a radical pro-map into an anti.

so, it's probably worth noting that therapists *are not reliable experts on pedophiles*, they do not have the answers to your problems. if you submit to them as an authority and trust their insights above your own rather than utilizing them as merely an external perspective that may or may not be helpful, you're gonna have a bad time
