Everyone "needs" electricity, no one needs to fly, we can plan to stop in a couple weeks

It's why it can and should be cut, starting with private jets.

Bit unethical to tell a sweltering Indian they should not install AC while we jet over there to tell them that before heading to Thailand to lie on the beach.
