Progressive values aren't some "leftist woke agenda". It's really about people's rights. This is fundamental to progressive values. Being aware of and fighting for marginalised people's rights is progressive. Fighting for the rights of the disadvantaged is progressive. Fighting for fair progressive taxation, not regressive taxation is progressive as well. These are values that could and should be embraced by both sides of the political spectrum.
