Everyone seemed suspended between that child-like reaction to "Snow!" and "What the hell is going on?" It's not supposed to snow like this in New Orleans. This wasn't a, "Oh, haha—New Orleans got a dusting of snow." We got almost 10 inches. I kept taking photos and the photos kept being outdated. The snow fell. All day. I couldn't see the end of my street. Dry snow, so little tree damage or lost power. Extra warming stations opened. We handled the snow like champs. But what the hell?
