boiler that heats our house and makes hot water started to trip RCD on Monday morning: seems like the heating circulation pump died. i switched it from the mains to the battery power supply while waiting for repair.
yesterday the pump started leaking, overheating, and seems like barely working (boiler was complaining about the low flow rate), so we decided to switch it off completely.

oil-filled radiator helped us thru the night, now kotatsu is helping thru the day
