This was in a rental house we had here, some years ago, there was a brutal freeze and strong wind, none of the windows fitted well, it was 🥶 I was wearing gloves in bed to read! And my Victorian nightdress, socks and a big quilted bedspread on top of the duvet and 3 cats. Genuinely gasp making cold, no frost to be seen, but everything was solid, even the canal in town froze, never felt anything like it before.
