I just had to endure a friend trying to "educate" me about myself. They're convinced I'm actually bisexual, not pansexual. Maybe just eff off and leave it be? I think we all know far more about ourselves than other people claim to, okay? Shhh. I rolled my eyes so far back I think I saw my brain. She took the teacher route and basically read me an entire essay. Like, dude, I've been pansexual since high school. Hush, now. Go try that act on other people, not me. I don't need a life (or sexuality, in this case) coach. I'm good.

Sorry for ranting but this ticks me off more than I could ever say. Even after all of that, I was perfectly polite with her and changed the subject. I'm not about to lash out at someone because I'm aggravated with their behavior. And she's the type to play the autism card if you call her out on her rudeness, so it wasn't worth it. Tons of us are neurodivergent, me included, and we don't deliberately try to hurt people's feelings or "put them in their place" because it apparently needed to be done. This is why I mind my own business.
