I’m in schools as a vendor, almost daily.
The number of massively overweight kids is astonishing. Worst in cities, little less in the burbs. Rural areas are a coin-toss. Non-government schools the least bad (likely more because of what they eat outside of school - my kids’ private school menu is only slightly less bad).

But I’m frequently assured that using tallow, lard, & butter, while eating a meat centric diet will kill me 🙄
