Bitcoin was created to counter the power of the financial industry and central banks. All the other blockchain projects are children of bitcoin. This embrace of Trump and his ultra wealthy backers is a violation of that core founding principle of Bitcoin. It was not created to transfer wealth from Wall Street to the techies who understand wallets and cryptography.
