Maybe you'd appreciate this insanity. After I had my second baby I would have vivid imaginations of tongues being cut off. I have no clue why my brain kept going there, but every time I used a knife I'd somehow envision something happening to me that cut off my tongue or someone elses. I tried to figure out what caused that specific imagery, I didn't feel "silenced" about anything. I also couldn't drive over the bridge to get to doctors appointments, I would imagine somehow driving off and dying.. you can imagine how bad shit crazy I felt having my baby be in the other room and somehow imagine a knife flying at them too.
