"I found a used copy of Michael Gordon‘s "Weather" in a bargain bin some time near the end of the 90s, and it stuck with me.
Gordon is co-founder of the #BangOnACan musical collective and attendant festival, and his work is often pretty interesting for it’s weird mix of accessible orchestral motifs, drenched in minimalism (think #SteveReich) and adventurous stretching (think #KronosQuartet) but it’s really his own thing."
