Another tedious take that indicates to me that you're a recent immigrant to Australia and/or of limited intelligence.
Yes, Australia could definitely support more ppl (despite a large part of the continent being desert). But land availability is obviously not the problem, just as it isn't in the USA (with its far larger population).
