Having had zero foreknowledge that it was going to #rain today (in the middle of the #Portland summer!), things could have been much worse. The only electrical devices that were sticking out from under the garage awning were a wood mulcher that is basically waterproof, an orbital sander which should be fine but has lived a good life in any case, and a pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones, which were draped over the edge of a box in such a way that all its holes were facing downward.
