We can agree with Linux a little bit. Is QubesOS user friendly. I don't know tbh. Its not that complicated as ppl think it is. In reality it offers great privacy and security per default so user can't do anything wrong. The toughest part of QubesOS is the hardware.
Flatpaks are okay but they also have their own problems, there is nice article about the problems with them.
Is a mobile better? Yes I think so, but only GrapheneOS. But thats like QubesOS. You need special hardware in the case of GOS a Pixel. Can we trust the hardware? No, its build in the US.
Do I like hardware wallets? No, they are overrated and bring you nothing at the end, they open more security and privacy issues. A Pixel has a secure chip as well. I use a combination of an offline phone with Ashigaru and another phone with Sentinel on my daily driver as setup which is very nice and offers great privacy. its much easier to use than any plastic device LOL
Back to Linux. I think it all depends on your threat model. I like to be flexible and like to have my important sfuff as much mobile as possible. For a normie a Linux setup can be also be okay.
