Had an interesting run-in with an Asian giant hornet (Vespa mandarinia) yesterday. Hubby and I were hiking around Sudeoksa Temple in Yesan County. This big orange candy-faced hornet comes flying right towards me. I step to the side to dodge it, but it had the same idea as me and also flew to the side to dodge *me*, but we ended up in front of each other again (lol!)! So it quickly flew around me and sped off to wherever it was hoping to fly.
Very polite of it! 😂🐝
