I feel like I approach most things with a sense of quiet wonder ("Someone *designed* this, thought of all the parts!" or "Someone made this, this was made by a person!"), which seems like a form of gratitude maybe. But the genius stroke here is putting "building" on the opposite side of "cynicism". I always want to be creating and building, and this is a good reminder that too much criticism, skepticism, and cynicism can be a complete roadblock to that.
