There's still useful content on Twitter which can be migrated over via screenshots and write ups. This at least keeps local users aware of goings on outside the platform. Useful for those who wish to not support the hellsite.
Growth has considerably slowed at Mastodon. Adding content will help viability, but some of it is app related. The most serious problem is lack if canonical URLs for toots. It makes linking to threads next to impossible.
