They can still sell it, and idiots will still buy it, pretend it's doing something and sell it on, back and forth over and over until it all looks valuable and their entire internet economy is built by it.

I used to go into twitter's "analytics" every few years just to laugh at what new arrangement of bollocks they'd made up since I last looked. It was always the most obviously worthless, "middle manager with a deadline" garbage ever invented, and instead of ever rethinking how they operate, they just sweep the turds around and dump more on top.
