Oh wow that clip is amazing! What is wild is that I think that sentiment is almost an omnipresent part of the human condition. It wasn't that people lived "back then" and are asleep now. When was "back then" enough that there weren't folks concerned over the sleepers not living a real life? Plato's allegory of the cave is what, 1500 years old? How long has there been a matrix we as humans try to escape?
