Bitcoin isnt made in the USA and won't ever be 🙂↔️ (technically it isnt made anywhere)
but if I'm being pedantic, everything physical about Bitcoin can be argued to be made in Taiwan 🇹🇼
your node validating blocks? thats a CPU diffused in Taiwan checking the math
your node's mempool? stored in DRAM made in Taiwan (well i suppose South Korea too)
your chain data? stored on HDDs/SSDs with components cut out from wafers baked in Taiwan
the P2P network? network controllers consisting of routers, switches, repeaters from thick undersea cables and satellites in space down to consumer ethernet switch and tiny wifi rafios -- seldom to find components not made in Taiwan
and of course ASICS, outside of a few models of WhatsMiners, pretty much the beating heart(s) of every ASIC dating back to like 28nm (we're at 3nm now) was diffused at a foundry in Taiwan (TSMC). scale and yield no one can conpete in 🙂↔️
and surprisingly, even the tiny screws and bolts that hold everything together because precision work doesnt come easy 🧐
im not sure where the rhetoric of "Taiwan stole tech and should pay protection money" is coming from. Companies in Taiwan outcompeted everyone fair and square by putting in the hours and the work.
country without global standing being the one that secures global money that doesnt beget violence, poetic no?
