I consider myself conservative and I am not enthusiastically in support of technological progress and economic growth.
That sounds more like the typical liberal capitalist rather than a description of the conservative mind.
As a conservative I would not mind if for example all cellphones were to be banned in society. I think when we had landline it was better. And I am tired of watching women and children always with a phone in their hand.
