This report by NewsGuard, that serial, blue-check misinfluencers are actively spreading bs on Twitter (perhaps newly empowered and without fear of moderation) is entirely unsurprising. After the 2020 election, we found that about 50% of tweets w/ false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims were retweets of about ~50 influential accounts.
