Allergy testing won't actually catch all your food allergies (and may have false positives). Another is to try sleeping way more propped up- maybe even in a recliner, but I just use one of those sitting pillow things with the arms in my bed. I think it's the propped up part that made a big difference for me.
They want me on Prilosec, I said no flat out. Because it makes my food allergies (and heartburn on trigger foods) WAY worse. I don't even have heartburn normally, but on PPIs, oh Jesus Christ.
