What comes next for the Bitcoin timechain is worth more than what comes next for all copies put together. And that's because the enormous sums of scarce resources used to write the latest block make the timechain immutable. There's simply not enough accessible resources under the control of uneconomic actors that can unwrite that last block, or the next one, or the one after that.
