The first presidential debate will be on CNN between Biden and Trump, a week from today. It will be 90 minutes with two commercial breaks. I believe (not 100% certain) there is a prohibition against political ads during those breaks. They cannot consult with their teams during those breaks. No notes or props can be brought on. No audience. Microphones will be muted while the other person is answering. CNN is offering the feed to other networks, unclear right now who might take it. Moderators will be CNN's Jake Tapper and Dana Bash.
