This is the right call IMO. If I want to block Threads I’m able to do so myself. I have friends on Threads and who knows? Maybe one day I’ll be able to persuade them that the platform they chose will inevitably end with #enshittification. For now though I’m happy we can stay in touch; at least they can see that they have a choice if the fancy takes them.
