I haven’t listened to the commentary, but the idea AIUI that all past Doctor's now bigenerated but 15 had to rely on the residual power of the Toymaker’s realm to get both remaining Doctors a TARDIS does seem to leave us with a load of old Doctors without their TARDISes. Tales of the TARDIS suggests that they can access the memory TARDIS and keep travelling, but 14 was pretty sad at the thought of saying goodbye to the original old girl. #DoctorWho
